IMPORTANT
NOTICE
In 2009 we introduced a new online profile system to keep handicaps,
match availability, contact details etc up to date. A
new Login button was been added to the main page, allowing
access to a password protected area, that will only be
available to county girls and officials. Team
selection for both County Matches and Events will be made
using this system.
WE INTEND TO
CONTINUE WITH THIS SYSTEM IN 2010, AND FURTHERMORE EXTEND IT
TO CERTAIN COMPETITION ENTRIES

Welcome to the Derbyshire Girls Golf official website. Now in its
3rd year, this website is designed to give information, news, results,
reports, photos etc, and is frequently updated throughout the year.
If you are not already part of the Derbyshire Girls, please contact
Ann Riley for more information - her details are on the Contact Us
page. You must be a member of a Derbyshire Golf Club, or intend to
play your golf in Derbyshire.
A number of Derbyshire Girls Competitions are specially organised
throughout the year for all ages. These often run alongside club
Junior Opens, and are great social occasions.
We are at the start of the 2008 season, which looks to be a another busy year
for junior golfers. Over the past few years, more and more events
aimed at junior golfers have been added to the calendar for all
abilities, so there's no excuse for not getting out there and having a go
For those of you interested in these other competitions, we will try
and publicise as many as possible - the first of the main competitions being Droitwich (Girls only)
which accept entries from non handicappers as well as handicapped
players - entry forms available from the fixtures page.
The British Junior Golf Tour hosts numerous events including a summer
order of merit tour at various golf clubs throughout the Midlands. Click HERE
for more information about the British Junior Golf Tour, or visit their
website www.juniorgolftour.co.uk.
Details of club junior opens can be found at golf
club websites or try www.opengolfcompetitions.co.uk.
We will also try and feature a calendar of competition dates on the site,
so keep checking.
Often, competitions give the opportunity to play the finest courses -
some for as low as £4 including food!
Enjoy the site, bookmark it, add it to your favourites and keep
checking back as it is frequently updated..
